Basic Principles of the Austrian Council's Work

At the start of its first term of office the Council for Research and Technology Development formulated the basic principles of its work and published them as a vision and strategy in spring 2001.

• Vision 2005 – Among the Best through Innovation describes the Austrian Council’s common values and mission statement as well as its objectives for 2005.
• 2.5% + plus – Prosperity through Research and Innovation builds upon Vision 2005 to formulate the key elements of the strategy for achieving the goals.
